Title Superconducting single-photon detectors made of ultra-thin VN films Type Conference Article
Year 2018 Publication KnE Energy Abbreviated Journal KnE Energy
Volume 3 Issue 3 Pages 83-89
Keywords
Abstract (down) We optimized technology of thin VN films deposition in order to study VN-based superconducting single-photon detectors. Investigation of the main VN film parameters showed that this material has lower resistivity compared to commonly used NbN. Fabricated from obtained films devices showed 100% intrinsic detection efficiency at 900 nm, at the temperature of 1.7 K starting with the bias current of 0.7·I

Title Developing of NbN films for superconducting microstrip single-photon detector Type Conference Article
Year 2020 Publication J. Phys.: Conf. Ser. Abbreviated Journal J. Phys.: Conf. Ser.
Volume 1695 Issue Pages 012116 (1 to 5)
Keywords NbN SSPD, SNSPD, NbN films
Abstract (down) We optimized NbN films on a Si substrate with a buffer SiO2 layer to produce superconducting microstrip single-photon detectors with saturated dependence of quantum efficiency (QE) versus normalized bias current. We varied thickness of films and observed the maximum QE saturation for device based on the thinner film with the lowest ratio RS300/RS20.

Title Subnanosecond photoresponse of a YBaCuO thin film to infrared and visible radiation by quasiparticle induced suppression of superconductivity Type Journal Article
Year 1992 Publication Appl. Phys. Lett. Abbreviated Journal Appl. Phys. Lett.
Volume 60 Issue 7 Pages 903-905
Keywords YBCO HTS detectors
Abstract (down) We observed subnanosecond photoresponse of a structured superconducting YBa2Cu3O7−δ thin film to infrared and visible radiation. We measured the voltage response of a current biased film (thickness 700 Å) in a resistive state to radiation pulses. From our results we conclude a response time of about 90 ps and a responsivity of about 4×1010 Ω/J. We attribute the response to Cooper pair breaking and suppression of the superconducting energy gap induced by nonequilibrium quasiparticles.

Title Integrated contra-directional coupler for NV-centers photon filtering Type Conference Article
Year 2020 Publication Proc. 32-nd EMSS Abbreviated Journal Proc. 32-nd EMSS
Volume Issue Pages 354-360
Keywords NV-centers, nanodiamonds, quantum photonic integrated circuits, contra-direction coupler, Bragg gratings
Abstract (down) We modelled an integrated optical contra-directional coupler on silicon nitride platform. Performance of the filter was studied depending on different parameters, including the grating period and the height of teeth of the Bragg grating near 637 nm operation wavelength. The obtained results can be used for a design and fabrication of quantum photonic integrated circuits with on-chip single-photon NV-centers in nanodiamonds.

Title Integrated Bragg waveguides as an efficient optical notch filter on silicon nitride platform Type Conference Article
Year 2017 Publication Proc. SPBOPEN Abbreviated Journal Proc. SPBOPEN
Volume Issue Pages 449-450
Keywords Bragg waveguides
Abstract (down) We modeled and fabricated integrated optical Bragg waveguides on a silicon nitride (Si3N4) platform. Transmission spectra of the integrated notch filter has been measured and attenuation at the desired wavelength of 1550 nm down to -43 dB was observed.
