Title Spectrally multiplexed single-photon detection with hybrid superconducting nanophotonic circuits: supplementary material Type Miscellaneous
Year 2017 Publication Optica Abbreviated Journal
Volume Issue Pages 1-9
Keywords Quantum detectors; Spectrometers and spectroscopic instrumentation; Nanophotonics and photonic crystals; Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy; Fluorescence resonance energy transfer; Fluorescence spectroscopy; Imaging techniques; Optical components; Quantum key distribution
Abstract (up) This document provides supplementary information to “Spectrally multiplexed single-photon detection with hybrid superconducting nanophotonic circuits", DOI:10.1364/optica.4.000557. Here we detail the on-chip spectrometer design, its characterization and the experimental setup we used. In addition, we present a detailed report concerning the characterization of the superconducting nanowire single photon detectors. In the final sections, we describe sample preparation and characterization of the nanodiamonds containing silicon vacancy color centers.

Title Characterization of a planar self-complementary square-spiral antenna in the THz region Type Journal Article
Year 2006 Publication Microwave and Optical Technology Letters Abbreviated Journal Microwave Opt Technol Lett
Volume 48 Issue 3 Pages 524-529
Keywords optical antennas; square spiral antenna; self complementary THz; photomixing; lens; method of moments; geometric optics; physical optics
Abstract (up) This paper describes a compact, self-complementary square-spiral antenna on a GaAs substrate with a broadside high-directivity (~9 dB) frequency-independent pattern when coupled through a silicon hyperhemisphere. The driving-point resistance undulates between ~00 and 300Ω from 200 GHz to 1 THz—much higher than the 72Ω value from Booker's modified formula, but quite beneficial for coupling to high-impedance broadband devices

Title Monolithic InP multi-wavelength coherent receiver Type Conference Article
Year 2010 Publication Conference on optical fiber communication, collocated national fiber optic engineers conference Abbreviated Journal Conf. OFC/NFOEC
Volume Issue Pages 1-3
Keywords InP balanced detector, waveguide grating, polarization splitter, from chiralphotonics
Abstract (up) We propose and demonstrate a novel four-channel monolithic polarization-diversity dual-quadrature coherent receiver with balanced detection in InP. It uses an interleave-chirped arrayed waveguide grating that acts simultaneously as a demultiplexer, 90° hybrid, and polarization splitter.
